Electrical Engineer (Powys, Wales)
Salary: £37,000 Per Annum

We are currently looking for a proactive and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team.

Working within an industrial manufacturing environment, this role operates on a three-weekly rotating shift pattern (Morning, Afternoon & Night), averaging 39 hours per week, and includes 1 Sunday in every 3. No Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities as an Electrical Engineer:

• Carry out maintenance, repairs, and replacements of equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electromechanical systems.
• Provide quick and effective fault diagnosis and repair.
• Support projects and ongoing site improvements.
• Work collaboratively with apprentices and support their development when needed.

Required Qualifications & Skills as an Electrical Engineer:

• Relevant electrical background with a practical hands-on approach.
• Good understanding of preventative maintenance.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
• IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Understanding of three phase motor controls.
